Trek to Machu Picchu

One of the 7 Modern Wonders of the world, and an iconic South American landmark, the lost city of Machu Picchu rests hidden within the Peruvian Andes. 

Venture from the historic market town of Cusco on a spectacular journey through the glaciers of Salkantay, following ancient Inca paths and tropical jungle leading towards Machu Picchu.

Inclusive of accommodation, guides, food, and in-country transport.

Trip Costs and Inclusions

This challenge is organised by our partner Endeavours Adventures in support of Dig Deep. 

Registration Fees:
 £395

You need to pay a registration fee to Endeavours Adventures which covers the administration and support costs of organising your challenge.

Fundraise/Pay:
£1695

Your fundraising is split 50:50 between a charitable donation to Dig Deep, to help bring clean water to Bomet County, Kenya where 65% of people lack access to a safe and reliable water supply, and all your in-country costs associated with your challenge (see breakdown below).

It is completely your decision whether you wish to fundraise the whole amount, fundraise some and pay the remainder yourself or simply self-fund the whole amount, but we are committed to offering comprehensive fundraising support to all of our participants. 

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Airport transfer to and from your accommodation

  • All meals as specified in itinerary 

  • Professional, English and Spanish speaking local guides and cooks

  • Luggage transport during the trek (you will only need to carry a day bag during the trek)

  • All entrance fees, national park fees, activity fees as specified in the itinerary

  • Transport in country

  • Camping Equipment (Except roll matt and sleeping bag)

  • Equipment hire facilities for equipment not provided

  • Safe drinking water during the trek

  • In-person support from an Endeavours Adventures representative in-country during the challenge

  • Fundraising support

  • 24/7 UK emergency line and support whilst on the challenge

  • Tips for guides and porters

  • Personal Spending Money

  • Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and back, if you decide not to walk

  • Flights to and from Cusco
