It's more than just a climb

Incredible Cause

This challenge is run in-house by the award-winning water charity Dig Deep. Through fundraising for the challenge, not only will you reduce the direct cost of your travel, you will transform the lives of thousands of people in East Africa by helping them to realise their right to clean water.

By taking on the challenge directly through us, there’s no third party profiting from your trip, meaning your registration fee & fundraising target are the most achievable and your fundraising goes further than any comparable challenge.

Ethical Value

We work directly with local, ethical, KPAP-certified suppliers to organise our climbs. This means that the local people making your challenge possible get a fair deal and we know that this is reflected in your experience on the mountain.

For the guides and porters to look after you on the trek, they first need to be looked after themselves. By working with these companies, who are both ranked in the top 10 on Tripadvisor, our fundraisers are in the best position to have a successful and satisfactory experience, which is reflected in the feedback we receive.

Personal Development

Throughout this journey, you will gain valuable skills and experiences to enhance your CV.

You will also make friends for life - many of Dig Deep’s Kilimanjaro groups are still having reunions over 10 years after climbing.

Trip Costs and Inclusions

We work with local, ethical, KPAP-certified suppliers to organise our climbs. This means that the local people making your challenge possible get a fair deal - and that our registration fee & fundraising target are the most achievable of any comparable Kilimanjaro challenge.

Registration Fees:
Maximum £395 (discounts available), split into:
£72.50 at point of registration (£145 after 1st Sep 2024)
£250 before 31st January 2025

Your registration fees cover the administration and support costs of organising your challenge.

You can reduce the cost of your registration fee balance:

£100 off by attending one of our Kilimanjaro information sessions

£50 off for each friend you refer - just state each other's names on the registration form.

Fundraise/pay:

£2990

Due before the 15th June 2025.

Your fundraising target is split 50:50 between a charitable donation to Dig Deep and all the in-country costs associated with your challenge (as listed below). Anything raised over the £2990 target will go straight towards Dig Deep's charitable aims.

The charitable donation will help save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods.

Find out more about our charitable mission here.

It is completely your decision how you reach this target. You may wish to fundraise the whole amount, mix fundraising with self-funding parts or self-fund the whole amount. We are committed to offering comprehensive fundraising support to all of our climbers, designed to help you to figure out what will work best for you.
